Reporter : So did no problems surface in these many days?
Ships Chief Officer : No, not much. There was some problem in the draft but it was under control. For example, if we found water in the ballast then we corrected it. We kept the situation under control until we met very bad weather near here. The vessel was in trouble from 12th of July. Day by day, we had problem. The swell was here & inside the vessel the water was till here. The sea level is generally four metres & for a sea like this, it is nothing. The vessel was continuously hit by waves.
Reporter : In hindsight now that you were saved by Coast Guard do you think you could have done something?
Ships Chief Officer : Of course, we could’ve. We worked on this day & night. We requested the operator for submersible pumps to be delivered here & we here for day and night.
